Gata is already preparing to recover its traditional festivals that are celebrated from July 28 to August 6 with a complete program that has been prepared by the 2022 Festival Commission with the support of the Gata City Council.

Blessing of the insignia of the Most Holy Christ and placement to the Festival Commission 2022, to the quint@s infantile 2022, to the quint@s eldest 2021 and to the quint@s eldest 2022. Afterwards, procession of the Descent of the Santísimo Cristo del Calvario accompanied by the Colla de Dolçainers i Tabaleters EL MONTGÓ and the Banda Unió Musical de Gata.

1:30 p.m. Popular proclamation by Francesc Arabí Arabí (Journalist) at the Town Hall. Next, beer will be distributed, sponsored by: Francisco Tomas e Hijos SL
10:00 p.m. Concentration in the Plaza Nueva of quint@s infantiles and quint@s majors 2021 and 2022 to go to the School Group, first going through the Town Hall to pick up the representatives of the year 2019, visiting festers and local authorities and neighbors accompanied by the Musical Association Coda and the Unió Musical de Gata Band.
11:00 p.m. Presentation of the children's QUINTÁ 2022 "Més festa i menys divisions" and Proclamation of the
representatives. Next, presentation of the QUINTÀ 2021 “L'Esvaró” and the QUINTÀ 2022 “La Rebrotà” and proclamation of the corresponding representatives.

7:00 p.m. Concentration of floats and groups on foot in the esplanade of the School Group for the parade of floats that will be enlivened by the Batukada, Charangas, the Colla de Dolçainers i Tabaleters El Montgó and Banda Unión Musical de Gata.
7:30 p.m. Float parade.
10:00 p.m. Dinner in the barracks.
11:00 p.m. Musical show in the Plaza Nueva, remembering one of the leading Pop groups of the 80s and 90s with the tribute to MECANO, “Entre lo Cielo y lo Suelo”.
The 2022 Commission wants to invite everyone to remember those wonderful 80s and 90s and invites you to go and enjoy the tribute to Mecano all dressed up in the clothes we wore in those years. We will invite everyone present to Calimotxo and we will give a gift to the most authentic couple.

5:30 p.m. Concentration when children and adults, accompanied by the children's Quint@s 2022 in Plaza Nueva from where the performance of the itinerant street theater "Prehistoric Adventure" will begin by David Shows, subsidized by the ALICANTE COUNCIL "CAMPAIGN OF MUSIC AND THEATER 2022” .

11:00 a.m. Refreshing WATER PARK on Avenida Alicante, with different inflatables. Destroyer slide, foam party during the park and guaranteed fun for children of any age at Espectáculos la Afición. (You must bring a float for the Destroyer slide)
The Commission will distribute poles to beat the heat.
1:00 p.m. “Bous a banda” with the group Grupo Eñe at the Commission baret, sponsored by the 2022 Festival Commission and organized by Gatafanclub.
2:00 p.m. Lunch at the Social Center for Quintà Infantil 2022 "Més festes i menys divisions" Sponsored by the 2022 Festival Committee.
4:30 p.m. Great performance for all the children of the town, by the magician Magic John with the show: FANTASY OF MAGIC, at the Social Center.

Appropriate clothing for the occasion, dark circles that protect the eyes and a hat that is not flammable (if possible made of cotton) and gloves.
01:00 a.m. Spectacular Correfoc by the Colla Dimonis Polopins, accompanied by the Colla de Dolçaina i Tabalet. The Correfoc will start on La Pau street and end on Alicante avenue with a tremendous pyrotechnic finale. At the end, release the cows and bull from the ASENSI cattle ranch.
In the Les Sorts area, we will enjoy a great Disco Party with Dj Sergio Perez.

Day of the greatest and offering

12:00 p.m. Solemn mass in thanksgiving for the elders of our town.
1:00 p.m. GOGO beer for all attendees and distribution of Montaditos with select sausages from our town in Plaza Nueva. We will enjoy the La Llata Dance Group.
1:00 p.m. “Bous a banda” with the group “Oxígeno” at the Commission baret, sponsored by the 2022 Party Commission and organized by Gatafanclub.
1:30 p.m. The Commission will offer a Wine of honor for the elders of the town in the Social Center. There will be dancing so that our elders can enjoy a good time in their day.
5:00 p.m. Youth category ball game at Trinquete Niño de Gata, between Capellino and Pizarro II against Santi and Arabí.
6:00 p.m. Great professional ball game between Genovés II, Nacho and Carlos against Giner, Tomás II and Oltra (hurtful) at the “Niño de Gata” Ratchet.

Day of the Most Holy Christ of Calvary

10:00 a.m. Parade of the Unión Musical de Gata Band through different streets of the town.
11:00 a.m. Parade of the Unión Musical de Gata Band, to collect the representatives of the children's Quint@s and the older Quint@s.
12:00 p.m. Solemn High Mass in honor of the Holy Christ of Calvary with the participation of the Grupo Serrillàs de Gata Choir. At the end of the mass, thunderous aerial bombardment by the Ricasa Pyrotechnics.
Next, Wine of honor at the Social Center, where the different prizes will be delivered (floats, costumes, streets...).
7:30 p.m. Mass and then a solemn procession to accompany the Holy Christ from the church to the hermitage of Calvary accompanied by the El Montgó Dolçainers and Tabaleters Group, the Coda Musical Association and the Unión Musical de Gata Band.
At the end, the Ricasa Pyrotechnics will shoot a spectacular fireworks display to end the Fiestas de Gata 2022.
