The Xarxa Esportiva de la Marina Alta recovers its night routes this summer

With this activity the macma recovers a project of the CEMA-Sports Consortium of the Marina Alta, which was already consolidated after 10 editions. walk the moon It is a set of night routes to discover different places in the region fleeing the summer heat.

With this proposal we want to make our territory known and not only in the landscape field, but also botanical, patrimonial, cultural or gastronomic. Thus, different interpretative stops will be made throughout the experience: ethnobotany, nocturnal fauna tracking, history, curiosities and local anecdotes, toponymy, astronomy, etc.

These activities will take place on the first three Fridays of August and begin at 8:00 p.m. in the afternoon. The proposal is aimed at both people from the region and from abroad, who want to discover new corners and live this new experience of night hiking.

These are low difficulty routes, due to their complexity and duration, and will include a tasting of tomatoes, shepherd's raïmet, a variety of cocas, Llíber raisins, traditional sweets and muscatel grapes. Accompanied with muscatel juice, wine, beer and mistela, all from the region.

the first exit, Ethnobotany between ceps and riuraus, is a circular path between Xaló and lliber. It will take place on Friday, August 5 and it is a 9 km and 130 m uneven route, with an approximate duration of 4 hours. On this route between the two towns linked by the Gorgos or Xaló river, we will walk surrounded by different varieties of vines and we will enter wooded areas and rural areas.

the second exit, Rastreig nocturnal al voltant del riu GironaIt will be on Friday, August 12. The itinerary will be circular with an accumulated positive slope of 25 m and a total distance of 6 km, with an approximate duration of 3:30 h. Leaving from the center of beniarbeig, crossing Pamis and Ondara and returning along the old path to the beginning to discover the wildlife around the Riu Girona.

Finally, on Friday, August 19, the route will take place Horse trails and the purest water, which runs through the Laguar Valley, between the towns of Fleje and Benimaurell. The itinerary is circular with an accumulated positive difference of 200 m and a total distance of 7 km. In this we will discover the laundries and fountains hidden between the town in the middle and the town above. It will combine sections of forest track, paved roads and sections of traditional cobbled path.
