Said aids are complementary with any other type of resources and social benefits of economic content that could correspond to the beneficiary or to any of the members of their coexistence unit.
The objective is to guarantee sufficient income to ensure coverage of their basic needs, whether urgent or insertion. The amount of the aid that is granted will be established taking into account the personal circumstances of the beneficiary and in accordance with the report that, for these purposes, is issued by the social services.
Thus, those people registered in the municipality, in an extraordinary situation of social and/or economic vulnerability caused by COVID-19 and whose income is insufficient to cover the expenses derived from the emergency situation, will be beneficiaries.
“In this way, we help the sectors most affected by the pandemic within our social fabric. A support to get out and recover the stability prior to this extraordinary situation that we have gone through ”, highlighted the councilor delegate in the Social Welfare area, Verónica Martínez.

Other aid for companies and the self-employed
The Teulada City Council also opens the period to request the help aimed at minimizing the economic impact caused by Covid-19 in SMEs, micro-SMEs, freelancers and professionals.
The funds, provided by the Provincial Council of Alicante, are intended for the municipalities of the province to offset the economic impact that COVID-19 is having on companies, of which Teulada Moraira corresponds to 76,399,000 euros.
Individuals who are self-employed or self-employed and SMEs who do not exceed ten employees on the opening date of the application submission period, who have been carrying out their activity without interruption since January 1, 2019 and who the monthly average billing for the months for which the aid is to be requested (which must be between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022), has been equal to or less than the monthly average billed in 2019.
The usual current expenses such as the self-employed fee, the rental of the commercial premises, advice and consultancy, supply contracts, telephone and internet services and interest on loans for the acquisition of the premises or commercial vehicles will be eligible.
The amount of aid to be granted to the beneficiaries, after the corresponding justification, will be for a maximum amount of 1,000 euros.
Applications should preferably be submitted to the electronic headquarters Teulada City Council with the digital certificate. The deadline for applying for aid will be 10 business days, beginning on July 28 and ending on August 11.
