The month of October will begin with a new offer of children's and youth leisure: the first FearCon, the hall of Oriental Culture and Alternative Leisure of Teulada Moraira. On October 1 and 2, the Auditori Teulada Moraira will host different activities, workshops, performances, commercial stands and Asian food.
With the launch of the I Pla Jove de Teulada Moraira, it is intended that the activities that are proposed by the Department of Youth are chosen in a participatory manner. Thus, a large group of young people of different ages showed their interest in manga, anime and Japanese or Asian cultures in general. This same group will collaborate voluntarily in the organization of the event, with the advice of two youth associations in the province, specialized in the organization of fairs and shows on this subject.
The different spaces with which the Auditorium Teulada Moraira They allow us to offer a very varied range of activities within the same building and surroundings. Said activities were chosen, again, in a participatory way, since a survey was carried out in the IES Teulada so that the hobbies and tastes of the students marked the event's agenda.
Spaces at the event
The main hall will house a video game area and a playroom with board games throughout the weekend. In addition, tournaments of different game championships such as Magic will be held: the Gathering.
The lower floor will host a fair with stands for manga, collecting, crafts and merchandising. In addition, in a reserved space, there will be workshops, martial arts demonstrations and the photocall of the conference will be located. In the workshops, it will be possible to carry out kanzashi, kunai, omamori, figures of hamma beads, or learn Japanese to travel, among others. On the other hand, the garden will host more active events, such as soft combat, archery or games of quidditch.
Finally, in the main room of the auditorium there will be lectures on cosplaying, Japanese mythology, and illustration in the manga, as well as dubbing and music in the anime. In the same central space you can demonstrate your singing skills in karaoke and enjoy a surprise concert.
In addition to the full program of recreational activities, there will be Asian food stalls and exclusive areas where you can participate in a live role-playing game.
Tickets can be purchased for a price of 3 euros one day or 5 euros both. In the municipality they will be available, starting in September, at Papelería Librería Moll (C/ Altea 5, Teulada) and at Arias Print (Av. del Portet 34, Moraira). Also, tickets will be available in other neighboring municipalities in the region.
For the moment, the youth of Teulada Moraira can already be encouraged to participate in the poster contest, which will be the image of this edition of TemoriCon. The winning person will receive a double entry, a t-shirt, a cup and more surprises. Consult the attached bases.
The youth councilor, Verónica Martínez, encourages the young people of the municipality and neighboring towns to participate in this event, to present their projects to the contest and to remain attentive to social networks, where the complete offer of activities, workshops and conferences, as well as the final schedules and their location in the venue.
