If July, the first month of this exhibition cycle, closed with around 10,000 visitors, August has exceeded this figure to reach 13,000 and accumulate more than 23,000 since its inauguration.
In the month of August, the most visited room was the Museu Soler Blasco, with 5,205 visitors. As for the other two rooms, the Center d'Art Lambert, located in the Casa de Tena, has received 5149 visits and the Casa del Cable, in the port of Xàbia, 3011.
The exhibition cycle will remain open until September 30, but it will be on the 23rd when one of the highlights of Balenciaga's century: the recital “El sonido de sus dos orillas” with music from the Basque and Mediterranean coasts performed by soprano Teresa Albero and pianist Jesús Gómez.
The councilor of Culture, Quico Moragues, wanted to highlight that "it is important to complement the tourist offer of Xàbia these summer months with quality cultural proposals, such as El siglo de Balenciaga, and the visitor data supports it".
